I THINK X FACTOR IS A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS

X factor is now on its 12th season, frankly I’m unsure of how it has been on our screens for so long seeing as it started in 2004.

I’m sure maybe in the past, when it was first came onto our screens it was revolutionary and we hadn’t seen anything like it. Maybe it was new and refreshing. The same can’t be said now, in 2015 it is dull and repetitive. In my opinion anyway.

Simon Cowell has clearly tried to keep the show interesting and mix it up every year by changing the judges. Of course to keep view ratings on the up. Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora are popular and current that appeal to younger generation, an attempt to save the show but I don’t think it’s worked.

The X factor is practically the same every year, we all expect to see someone really shitty at singing, where obviously their friend has been too kind and encouraged them to apply. Now they’re on TV making a tit of themselves in front of the nation. Oh don’t forget about the sob story we hear every year, it changes depending on the person but they always include one.
Not to mention the ‘winner’ which we never hear of again. They’re all the same, someone who sings pop/mainstream music, what about rock singers? Alternative bands? And those who start the competition as a little quirky and different, by the end of it they’ve been manufactured into a replica of a pop artist.

I think it’s fixed. There has been shit loads of speculation on Facebook where people have spotted bad continuity errors, where someone in a group was wearing his jumper and not another minutes. Oops fucked up there didn’t you. There has also been more speculation about the x factor being fixed.

The most interesting thing to happen to the X factor in years was Frankie Cocozza who caused controversy by shoving cocaine up his nose, which I thought was highly entertaining. Everyone either loved him or hated him.
